定居20年,他用外国面孔说长沙,马丁在长沙:要当好中外民间文化使者

定居长沙20年，中文流利、热爱中医和太极，加拿大博主马丁（Martin Haase）如今有了一个新目标：讲好他的“第二故乡”——长沙的故事。过去，他是国际代表团了解长沙的“语言桥梁”，现在，他拿起镜头，通过账号“马丁在长沙”，成为了一名内容创作者。从枫叶之国到湘江之畔，这位深谙中医与太极的外籍博主，正试图用他近二十年的跨文化观察，向海内外观众传递心中真实、温暖、有底蕴的长沙。

记者：先简单跟大家做个自我介绍，聊聊你是怎么和长沙结缘、一直定居在长沙的？

Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us how you connected with Changsha and decided to settle here permanently.

马丁：大家好，我是马丁。我在长沙定居生活近二十年，这里早已是我的第二故乡。我出生于加拿大维多利亚市——加拿大维多利亚市本身就是长沙的国际友好城市，这份缘分也让我和这座城市注定结缘。

Hi everyone, I’m Martin Haase. I’ve lived in Changsha for nearly 20 years, and it has truly become my second home. I was born in Victoria, Canada — Victoria is officially a friendship city of Changsha, so in many ways our connection was meant to be.

我从小热爱中国武术与中医药，2007年，我来到湖南中医药大学求学，从此扎根湖南。这些年，我在这里完成学业、打拼事业、组建家庭，长期致力于中加文化、教育与经贸交流。我也希望借助个人影响力和自媒体平台，向世界推介长沙、传播湖湘文化，做湖南面向国际的民间文化使者。

I have loved Chinese martial arts and TCM since I was young. I came to study at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine in 2007, and have been rooted in Hunan ever since. Over the years, I’ve completed my education, built my career, and started my family here. I’m fully committed to China-Canada cultural, educational, and business exchanges. My hope is to use my influence and social media platform to showcase Changsha and share Hunan culture with the world, serving as a grassroots cultural ambassador for Hunan internationally.

记者：当初是什么契机，让你做起自媒体、成为一名内容创作者？

What inspired you to start creating and sharing content on social media?

马丁：其实我做自媒体才刚刚起步。这些年，我和很多主流媒体有过合作，他们也一直鼓励我开设自己的账号，把故事直接分享给更多人。

I’m just getting started on this wonderful journey. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with many mainstream media outlets, and they have consistently encouraged me to launch my own channel and share my stories directly.

过去几年，我接待过许多来长沙交流的国际代表团，他们专程前来了解中医药、太极拳、湖湘文化、文旅和经贸发展。我一直担任翻译与文化桥梁，为他们介绍真实的长沙。每一批访客都给出了非常积极的评价，都希望深入了解，也期待再次回到长沙。

Over the past few years, we’ve welcomed many international delegations to Changsha to learn about TCM, Taijiquan, local culture, travel, and business. It has been a great honor to serve as their interpreter and local cultural bridge. I’ve received so much positive feedback; every group tells me they want to learn more and hope to come back to Changsha again soon.

正是这份认可，让我下定决心运营自媒体。我希望通过自己的账号，让长沙和中国传统文化被更多海外朋友看见、了解、走近。在长沙生活、学习、工作近20年，我拥有一段很特别的跨文化人生。我希望把最真实的经历、最真诚的感受分享出来，用有温度的故事和大家交流，也让更多人看见我眼里真实又可爱的长沙。

That experience inspired me to build my own channel. I want to make Changsha and traditional Chinese culture more accessible to global audiences. After living, studying, and working in Changsha for nearly 20 years, I have a unique cross-cultural perspective. I want to share my real experiences, insights, and love for this city with more people. I hope my genuine stories can connect with others and bring them closer to the true heart of Changsha.

记者：你的账号 “马丁在长沙”，给自己的创作定位是什么？主要想分享哪类内容？

What is the creative positioning of your account “Martin in Changsha”? What kind of content do you focus on?

马丁：我的账号叫“马丁在长沙”，名字很直白：我是谁、我在哪里，一目了然。目前我拍过旅行、文化、武术相关内容。未来我会专注做更深度、更专业的创作，重点分享我深耕多年的中医药和太极拳。我慢慢发现，长沙的大街小巷处处都藏着故事，我也希望通过镜头，把这些鲜活的城市故事分享给更多人。

My account is called “Martin in Changsha” — simple, direct, and real. Everyone knows immediately who I am and where I am. So far, I have shared videos about travel, culture, and martial arts. Going forward, I will create deeper, more professional content centered on TCM and Taijiquan — knowledge I have studied and practiced for many years. I’ve found that almost anywhere I go in the city tells a story, and I hope that I can share more of those stories with more people around the world.

记者：你觉得作为外籍创作者，和本地本土博主相比，在创作中会有哪些不一样的地方？

As a foreign creator, what makes you different from local content creators?

马丁：每个创作者都有自己独特的视角。对我来说，最特别的是跨文化的观察眼光。在长沙生活近20年，加上中医和太极的专业背景，以及常年接待国际代表团的经历，让我既能读懂本土文化底蕴，也能用海外观众听得懂的视角去解读长沙。

Every creator has their own voice. What makes me different is my cross-cultural perspective. I’ve lived in Changsha for nearly 20 years, with a professional background in TCM and Taijiquan. Coupled with my experience hosting international delegations, I can understand local cultural depth while explaining Changsha in a way global audiences can easily relate to.

我不只是以游客视角看长沙，而是以生活近二十年的本地人、中医太极从业者和文化交流参与者的多重身份去观察。我希望用这种视角，给大家带来新的发现、新的感受、新的思考。

I don’t see Changsha only as a visitor; I view it as a long-term resident, a TCM and Taiji practitioner, and someone active in cross-cultural exchange. I try to look at daily life and traditional culture with fresh eyes, and I hope to bring people new discoveries and new understandings.
